At times, Manmohan Singh shoots a noiseless rocket, which results into a noisy political storm.
He said, the Sikh riots of 1984 could have been avoided, if PV Narasimha Rao, the then home minister, had heeded the advice of former prime minister IK Gujral's request to call the army at the earliest.

After Chandrashekhar's government fell after Congress party withdrew its support to it, the cabinet ministers were discussing about winning the elections, Manmohan Singh, in the corner of the room, was sitting worrying about his future.
Out of concern, Chandrasekhar asked what is bothering him, Manmohan Singh said he was worried about his career, at a gathering where the attendees were discussing politics.
He requested Chandrashekhar to get him appointed as UGC chairman. At first he denied, but took the risk of getting Manmohan Singh appointed in the capacity of caretaker prime minister, which is an unethical practice.
Not only did he became an accidental prime minister, but also an accidental finance minister in Narasimha Rao's government.
Manmohan Singh was not the first choice to be the Finance Minister. Narasimha Rao had first offered the job to economist and Manmohan Singh's friend Dr IG Patel, who could not take up the job.
Later, with Sonia Gandhi's blessings, he was made the prime minister, so that she can run the country from behind the scenes.
Therefore, time and again, Manmohan Singh pays off his indebtedness to Gandhi family. Latest being - his statement absolving Rajiv Gandhi’s alleged justification of Sikh riots and putting the entire blame on Narasimha Rao, who is dead.
Therefore, he must be asked why Rajiv Gandhi did not call army to stop Sikh killings?
Whoever orchestrated the killings were gifted with high-profile tasks, either in the government or party.
We must also ask Narendra Modi and Amit Shah - why shouldn't action taken against Manmohan Singh for his unlawful approvals for 2G and coal mines to companies, who looted and cheated India.
He should have been in jail like Chidamabaram, but because of the bonhomie and understading between politicians.
Also, the Supreme Court should be questioned why shouldn't they pull up past and present governments for having failed to punish Manmohan Singh.
Lakhs of efforts can be made to wash this black spot on the Congress' face, but will not succeed in efacing the role of Gandhi family's hand in killing Sikhs.
And also ... Manmohan Singh wouldn't succeed in being an accidental slave of the Gandhis.
