Does Rahul Bajaj Wants 2G Scam Era Of Loot And Cheat Back?

What precisely were former NDTV journalist Barkha Dutt and Vir Sanghvi accused of?

They were accused of lobbying for A Raja through Niira Radia to install him as telecom minister, who later committed biggest frauds in Indian political history by unlawfully selling mobile-phone spectrum that resulted in India losing up to $40 billion.

Such lobbying is dangerous for any country's economy.

Just three days back, Rahul Bajaj, an industrialist whose forefathers had helped Congress with huge donations since freedom struggle, stirred a hornets nest by complaining to Amit Shah that there is a fear perception in India, which became a major headline for media.

However, the media, surprisingly, did not publish a word about an interesting statement which Rahul Bajaj made at the ET Awards ceremony.

What was that statement?

Read this: "Without convicting anybody, 100 days people are put in jail. I am not supporting anybody. I don't even know the person (Chidambaram), except hello, hello. In my last 40-50 years, Piyush (Goyal) will know that well. I haven't met any minister in his office or home in the last 40-50 years. I did not ask anything ..." Rahul Bajaj said.

This remark is nothing less than political at an apolitical event. Rajiv Bajaj was right on the dot when he raised doubts if it was proper platform for his father to have raised such senstive issues.

Bajaj's Fear

What Rahul Bajaj is afraid of? Why did he lobby for Chidambaram at the awards event, when the whole world knows about his corruption?

Is he afraid that opening of Chidambaram's box of secrets could expose the corporate connections with the jailed leader?

Many are aware of Chidambaram and many industrialists indulgence in various scams, beginning from Harshad Mehta scam.

Or is he afraid of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's action against sugar mills owned by his family, which haven't yet paid Rs 10,000 crore dues to sugarcane farmers?

In all of UP, the Bajaj family owns 14 sugar mills.

The local media has been raising the issue for years. Even the Parliament has debated it after Sharad Pawar took up the matter.

By raising the ghost of fear factor and backing Chidambaram in the open, isn't Rahul Bajaj wanting a 2G and coal scam era, so that the corporate can loot and cheat, if lucky, with the blessings of a la corrupt Congress government at the centre?

Looks like. Period ...
